Replaced both speakers in iphone 7 plus , after installing them correctly there is still no sound. when i click the volume buttons no icon is displayed on the screen. could i have replaced the wrong part? any help would be appreciated to find a solution

Yes, there’s is a chance there’s a problem with the audio IC too, it would be useful if you’d be able to add some info about the history of this iPhone.

It’s second hand , bought off gumtree and had a badly damaged screen which I replaced. There are some small scuffs and dents around the corners. That’s all I have on it
The badly damaged screen may point to a severe hit that would be consistent with a damage to the logic board bigger components such as the audio IC. I believe since you already tried parts replacement without any success there are no other options but finding a reputable lab into microsoldering where they could attempt a logic board component level repair.
