Network connection issues for both wired and wireless.

I have an xbox one s that I have been having network issues with. I only have connection issues with one online game in particular. Other games stay connected and game play is fine. I have tried both wireless and hardwired connections. Would a dedicated port maybe help this? I am not sure if it is the xbox itself of if it is just an information issue. I have multiple xbox’s in the house and this is the only one that has these problems.

Based on the vague description, this is unlikely to be hardware issue.

it’s unlikely to be an issue with hardware. I’d say try and uninstall and reinstall that one game first. If you still have issues, make sure all your stuff is backed up (I think if you have gold it does it automatically but I’m not sure) and do a full factory reset on the console. If that still doesn’t work…it’s pretty hard to say. It would most likely be an issue with the game’s servers, maybe even the way your ISP is communicating with them? I’m not as experienced in networking as other stuff.


Edit: If you have a friend with an xbox, or another xbox, try playing the game on that console while on your network and see if it has the same issues
