Looking for a guide on how to replace the lcd flex cable

Hi there,

So this forum is my last resort as I can't seem to find any guides anywhere on how the lcd flex ribbon is replaced, more specifically; how the heck do you remove the other end of it? will it take a complete disassembly? screen et al…?

Many thanks

Are you getting a no display on your Tab A? If yes a common easy fix is just to reseat the top half of the display cable. It’s very common for it to get loose on this model.

Use this guide to open up the tablet:

Unplug battery cable first then the display ribbon cable next, then do reverse and it should work.
