Overheating After Screen and Battery Replacement

I replaced the battery and screen on an iPhone 6 (with iFixit parts only). Now when I start up the phone, everything appears to work but the phone gets hot - real hot.

I opened the phone back up and found that it is this part which is overheating:

I don’t believe any other component has heat coming from it.

I would appreciate any help I can get. All this into the phone and now it has an overheating problem!

That EMI shield covers CPU and in the upper left corner backlight driver and support components. Since you replaced the display would be reasonable to think that when it got broken backlight circuit was damaged too and one or more partly shorted components are causing overheating. Unfortunately it is very likely pretty soon backlight will eventually fail if the shorted components don’t get replaced.

Hello!

I looked and looked for images with this part in particular

Short version, my mom was at work and all of the sudden her iPhone 6 got very hot and didn't turn on or charged(this is in September 2020)

Today I changed the battery and the screen with out a problem, but as soon I tried to turn the phone on I realised that it didn't and the same part as the one above was very hot, I think it is the processor right?

It receives power, but it overheats after 10/15 seconds and again that part is very hot.

Can someone help me please?
