recovery mode after a succesful restore...

There is NO error, it restores normally but when its over, it says it worked fine

the phone reboots and its in recovery mode. i repeat all this and still wont reboot.

I got the phone today and it was working fine.

i opened it and it has water damage i said ok the phone seems to work so no problem. i refurbished it completetly and when i turned it on it didnt work :(

Any ideas?

home button didnt work prior to restoring...

im assuming i either damaged it or its just the water damage acting up

did you replace the battery as part of your refurb? which parts have you changed?

Jonas, I would go ahead and follow this guide Electronics Water Damage just to make sure that you wont have any issues with the phone down the line. To get it out of recovery mode I use Recboot.. Good Luck

I have an iphone 3gs 16gb that was unlocked and recboot is not working to get it out of recovery mode

ive used redboot to kick another 3gs out of recovery but i seem to have no sucess with this one.

when i restore it it gives me error: 28 on itunes

do you have any suggestions?

Thank you so much, recboot wasnt working until i clicked on Exit and thats the only one that opened up and it just kept rebooting the phone on and off im like uhhhhh so i disconnected and it started doing something i never saw before and boom it was restored lol.

thank you! your the best btw:)

i will try this on other broken phones stuck in recovery now :)

The easiest way to exit iPhone Recovery mode - ReiBoot. No need of home/lock button, no need to connect to iTunes. Only one click to exit iPhone Recovery mode.
