Why there is a light leak at the top of the LCD?

I replaced my iPhone 6s Plus LCD, as it was crack only to the glass. When I installed the new LCD screen to the iPhone and the apple logo appear, I notice there was an light leak just at the top of screen. You only notice this light when the background is black.

I have took the iPhone apart and re-did the connection and made sure to not damage the flex cable, but still the same.

The digitizer touch doesn’t seem to work so well, as the bottom left and right does not work when I touch them. The touch doesn’t seem to response so well.

Options

A light leak is usually caused by pressure on the screen. But, as you have said the digitizer isn’t working, you will have been given a faulty replacement part. Send it back for a replacement
