no service after battery replacement

I have just replaced the battery on my iphone 3g, everything works apart from intermittent service on my phone, I have re-stored the phone. Nothing can anyone Please help?

open the phone again and check that the small gold prong in the lower right corner of your motherboard is in contact with the metal frame on your rear case. this is the antenna grounding prong...
