Charger Quality: Galaxy vs. iPad?

I want a single charger to use for diagnosing and repairing phones for my mobile kit, the majority of manufactures I work on are Apple, Samsung, and Google.

I had been carrying an old first or second generation 2A iPad charger for a while, but its getting old. Its what I use my USB multimeter with. There are now aftermarket 2.1-2.2A chargers available from good brands like Anker but I feel as if an Apple or Samsung charger would be built best. Samsung does not seem to be as picky as Apple at least with what cable you use (no charge regulation chip like a lighting cable?) but I am not sure about the charger. I know you can charge a Galaxy with an iPad charger and an iPad with a Galaxy charger but I do not believe you can fast-charge a Galaxy with an iPad charger?? Or fast-charge an iPhone 8/X with a Galaxy fast-charger??

My thought was to choose whichever would hold up longer to the most abuse, since I may not need fast-charging features just for repairs and diagnosing. However I may be plugging in devices with board shorts that can put excessive loads or resistance on the charger.

Answer this question I have this problem too
