Can I swap 2.7 ghz processors for the 2.0 ghz processor?

I have a early 2005 Power G5, model A 1047, emc 2061, 2.0 ghz dual, with pci. Can I install 2.7 ghz processors in this computer?

Theoretically yes, as long as the 2.7GHz module also comes from an EMC2061.
