iPhone 6 touch screen selectively unresponsive

Yesterday at about 2 pm my screen just stopped responding, it randomly starts functioning for a few seconds, then goes back to not working. I don't think I dropped it because it was working all day yesterday. I've soft reset, hard reset, done a DFU restore, nothing has worked. I don't think I have the "disease"  because there's not grey bar at the top of the screen, the whole screen looks completely fine. Any ideas as to how to fix this?

Chosen Solution

Touch Disease is pretty rare on the iPhone 6, it usually afflicts the 6 Plus. That said, there are iPhone 6’s that do require some micro-soldering work to fix cracked solder balls underneath the touch IC’s.

However, before you get there, you have to eliminate the screen as a possibility. You need to try a new or preferably known-good screen to see if the problem remains or not. Only when you have isolated the problem to the logic board should you consider a micro-soldering solution.
