Playstation 4 Does not turn-on

Here is what happens when I try to power-on my PS4

++https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xDei9Dwv...

What can I do? It could be the thermal paste? Or there is nothing to do, because the chip is already burned? Or it is the power supply?

Answer this question I have this problem too

Is this a good question?

For anyone who cannot view the video, the PS4 lights illuminate blue and after about 2 seconds the lights turn off completely and nothing else happens.

Hey, Peter. If your APU is in fact the problem, changing the thermal paste at this point won’t help. The APU will need to be either replaced, reballed, or reflowed. All of these require a hot air station at the least. However, I would look at the PSU before condemning the PS4. Take the Power Supply Unit out and open the casing. You may see obvious signs of failure or you may not. If you have another working PS4, try swapping the PSU out. This could help you determine if you should look into trying to reflow your APU.

Thanks! I've already bought a new PSU on Amazon. If it is not this the problem, I'll return the PSU to Amazon in 30 days. But my question is: this kind of symptoms could be related to a PSU failure or something else?

Typically when I see the blue light turn on and then off, it's the APU. But it has been the PSU a couple of times. If the PSU doesn't fix it, do you feel comfortable /have the equipment to try to reflow the chip? You can try using a rework station to do this, but this is typically done with professional Reballing equipment, and you can easily and irreparably damage your PS4. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ad8AzCxB...

Also, I've never tried this, but it might be worth a shot before condemning the PlayStation: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pszuueUT...

It doesn't seems to be the same problem (BLOD), because my blue light is not blinking for 30 seconds but for just one second. I was actually playing when my console turned off and then this problem appears. But I had problems with the console before: the machine freezes sometimes ad I had to pull-off the power cable to restart it.

That's why I recommend starting with the PSU. I've seen both faults present in different ways, but in cases similar to yours I've seen it be a PSU. Let me know if it works when your new one comes in.
