Why is my screen black, but responsive after replacing the battery?

I replaced the battery in my iPhone 6s, and after, the screen was responsive but was black. I ordered a new screen and had the same result. I gave up for a few days but I tried to turn the phone on again and the red battery symbol with the lightning cord came up. I plugged it in and the same thing happened.

Answer this question I have this problem too

As uve replaced the battery a good place to start would be that… what was wrong with the original battery? Try a new battery, it could be the battery u replaced is low and the phone itself is actually not charging or it could be the battery is defective and it's not charging. Try another battery :)
