How to replace the metal cover of the sim reader

My iphone sim reader and the metal bracket that cover it need to be replace. I can handle the sim reader, I think. but does anyone know how to replace the metal bracket that covers the sim reader. Does it need to be soldered on or can I just glue it on.

Thanks but it was broken so I had to take it off. Can I just stick it on, I think its only function is to retain the sim card and tray

I've always done the repairs with the bracket in place. If it isnt preventing the sim tray from going in, then leave it be, you can do it from front side if you have a small enough iron.

Yea all it does is just retain the tray. If the tray stays without it, I would leave it out.
