Is this part right for me?

Hi,

my iPhone SE has a problem about microphone.

When I am on general call(only voice), the microphone seems working well, but if I turn on speaker or I use a kind of video call(ex. Facetime), it doesn’t work!

So, I found this iPhone 5s/SE (1st Gen) Front Camera and Sensor Cable. However I am not sure if this is right for my situation. Is this problem in secondary microphone?

FaceTime uses the microphone on the FCAM & Sensor flex so this would be the right part.

There are 3 microphones in the iPhone.

  • The bottom microphone is for Voice Memo and phone calls. The other microphones serve as error cancellation
  • The (top) front microphone is used for FaceTime calls, Siri and selfie videos with the front camera (FCAM). The top back microphone serves as error cancellation
  • The (top) back microphone is used for videos with the rear camera (RCAM). The top front microphone serves as error cancellation
