Display cable Apple Watch Series 1

Hi there everyone!


I decided to buy a broken display apple watch series 1 for $80 after reading and watching some DIY videos on how to replace the display.


Before I actually get to it, the broken display was working fine, so I open it just like they teach in here (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XziwALvK...) but I believe I screwed up and damaged the display cable cuz now the touch isn’t working and the image is blury.

Sounds like you may have done so. Unfortunately that means you have to replace the entire screen assembly as the display cable is not detachable. Be sure to choose the right screen assembly for your model!

Thanks for your answer, I believe the piece that is damaged in this case isn’t related to the display it self, it is the display cable, that’s where you connect the flat of the new display and touch, as follow:

Whoops! My bad... I didn’t see that part so I figured that the display cable was non removable.
