Spill: Turns on and works fine except won't work on battery

Hi guys,

I’m working on a 2015 Macbook Air 13”.

Everything works after the spill except for running the computer on battery.

Oddly enough, the computer shows that the battery is present and has 70% charge but it will turn off once I unplug the charger.

Does anyone have schematics for this macbook that may aid in narrowing down the issue?

Answer this question I have this problem too

Battery says 100% on login screen, but once I login it says 50% , not charging.

Power adaptor detected but no charge going through.

@danj Ideas? This one stumps me. Corrosion on the Logic Board?

You still have some corrosion damage on the back side of the logic board around the SMC chip.

The fact CoconutBattery is showing no charging when your battery is low and also is telling us the charger is plugged in tells me your logic board has issues

That's what I figured. I'll try removing the board and cleaning the other side with rubbing alcohol, but without schematics (and knowledge of how to properly use them), I'm pretty much out of luck unless I replace the whole board or refer it off to expensive logic board repair
