sprint carrier locked iPhone swap

i have two 6’s one sprint one verizon… the sprint i got from this chick who just stopped paying the bill on the phone because someone purchased her a new one …. neither phone has activation lock BUT the sprint iphone is “carrier locked” can i put the sprint logic board in the verizon iphone (the only reason. why id like to do this is because the verizon 6s home button doesn’t work at all oem screen and parts it just stopped working one day i’ve done all the cleaning and taking a part i could do) to have access to touch id again i just wanna know will that do anything to my service

thanks buddy i appreciate the FAST reply i literally have been in the lab for two days trying to figure out how to word the question before i started asking lol

... so can you tell me exactly what on the logic board or in side of the iphone gives it the ability to be “carrier locked”

I think that carriers lock the phones they sell because they don't want their customers terminating their contracts early. Carrier locked phones only take SIM cards that are issued by e.g. Sprint and theres not much that can be done in order to remove the carrier lock. I am unsure what part of the Logic Board has the carrier lock settings on it. Thats my two cents.
