Battery Health Indicator iOS 12.0

I replaced the battery in my iPhone 6s and all went fine; however, the Battery Health Indicator (Settings, Battery, Battery Health) no longer functions. Is there something about the ifixit replacement batteries that make them incompatible with this function? Or is there something I need to do to get this functionality back.

Answer this question I have this problem too

Is this a good question?

Try a systel restore with iTunes. If that doen’t fix your problem, try to boot your iPhone in DFU mode ( http://www.iphonehacks.com/put-iphone-in... ) and restore it with iTunes. If it doesn’t work, I guess that Apple doesn’t autorize people to use batteries not coming from them…

I can’t help you more sorry :/

I’m in the same boat. iPhone 6S with 12.1 and did the proper steps in repair, training it past 10% then charge to 100% uninterrupted. Battery health reads “Service” with nothing for Max Capacity and peak performance reads “unable to determine battery health”.

I wish iFixit strolled through these answer forms. People expect a better repair experience since iFixit is anything but inexpensive… I could have bought a battery from a Chinese warehouse for 4 bucks vs 24 for the same result!
