The trouble shooting information is not helpful. It only tell you the basic information and I have tried that already.

If you take of the top, their should be a trouble shooting guide tucked in there somewhere. If not it may be in a folder under the bottom front cover.

Same problem. Could not access plug since dryer on top, but did shut off circuit breaker for 10 min. Did not work. Tightened door latch. Did not work. What happens is any cycle lights up, pressing button for about 20 seconds, then 3 beeps, then F and then dL light up on screen?

If the lid switch is defective, your washer can't spin and may not function at all. The switch is inside the washing machine main housing near the door frame. Often you have to raise or open the top or front of the washer to get to the switch. If it's defective, you need to replace it.

Some machines have a special lid-switch fuse near the lid switch, inside the control panel. If this fuse blows, the unit won't fill with water until you replace the fuse.

Take the lid off the top and check the 3 connectors to the door switch assembly. One assembly functions the door latch as well as the black push pin at 2 o'clock. Make sure all three female connectors are fastened within the corresponding male connectors of the door switch assembly.

My washer is about 12 years old and I found that the door hinge was bent down about a half inch. When being closed the little mating button with the button on the latch switch was busted off due to lifting to close the door. At my local appliance store the part is $105.00, I got a used one for $50.00. Besides replacing the part I partially opened the door and pulled up on the door until the hinge was straight and the buttons properly mated again. Thanks for the help, my budget wasn't including replacing a new set of washer and dryer and that is what I was being faced with.
