Beatsx fully charged but won’t turn on or connect

So my beatsx were working perfectly fine yesterday but when I tried to use them today they won’t even turn on. When i plug them into the charger the white light comes on. I’ve plugged them into my mac and the software is up to date and it says they are fully charged. I’ve also tried resetting with no luck.. Any help would be appreciated!!

Answer this question I have this problem too

Is this a good question?

I just had the problem. it would charge and the light would turn on while charging, but when unplugged the light would not turn on at all. Tried to reset holding the power and each of the other buttons for 10 seconds and it didn’t work. Was about to give up, then I plugged it in so the light came on, then i held the power button and simultaneously unplugged and some lights started flashing red and white and then it turned on and asked to reconnect to my device. Maybe I just got lucky.

Had the exact same problem, I too was about to give up, did the same thing as Aaron Sylvester and it worked. Beats even showed they were 96% charged. Thanks a million man!!!

Go into the Bluetooth settings of your iPhone and delete the BeatsX listing. Then turn on your headphones and re-link it to your iPhone that should fix it.

I’ve tried this, but the headphones won’t even light up once unplugged from charger/mac or the light will be on once unplugged and they won’t turn off or pair with any device

At this point you'll need to see if your BeatsX is even signaling via Bluetooth. You'll need to get a Bluetooth sniffer like this one: Bluetooth Explorer it's not very good sadly.

Hey man i had the exact same problem, battery was fully charged but as soon as you take it off charge it wont turn on and the light doesnt even turn on. I took it to an audio shop that services headphones and earphones. Turns out that theres a cable in the beats x that broke and it had to be replaced. As soon as i got it replaced my beats x works perfectly and charges and turns on just like new

We are all having same problem and the answer is bogus. How are we supposed to turn the headphones back on….that’s the %#*@ problem! They light Showing life while plugged in, unplug(don’t work while charging) Then nothing.. they refuse to turn on.

I am having the same problem. Once I unplug they will not turn on.

Mine hadn't even been used. I'd had them in the box for over a year (so no warranty), today I charged them, the light shows then, but they won't turn on when unplugged. I can do the reset trick while they're still on the charger but it makes no difference to them working off the charger. So they're basically junk. Disappointing.

by

sam here... never used and now wont work... but my beats wireless remote was broken out the box so basically mass production has produced expensive garbage

by

Long dormant thread, but I will add that I bought two pair of the headphones, leaving one in storage for the eventual failure of the original pair (notoriously fragile little things). I pulled out the backup pair last night, charged overnight, updated the firmware and then...nothing.

Resets don't help.

Guess they shouldn't be left uncharged for that long.

Ah well, if the W1 chip ad the form factor weren't *exactly* what I wanted...

It can charge, but it won’t turn on when unplugged. Expensive Junk. Can something be done against this company?.
