SSD upgrade 2018 model

Hello,

Is it possible to upgrade the SSD in the latest MacBook Air (2018) model, or has Apple soldered it making this impossible?

Thanks…

There is no 2018 model as of yet. The most current model is the Early 2017 13"

Thanks Dan!

From what I understand from the demo below, a 2017 13"'s SSD should be replaceable; do you agree?

Thanks...

Yes you can replace it with either the OWC SSD or the custom Apple SSD designed for your system.

The 2017 model uses the exact same design as the 2015 model. The only difference was an upgraded CPU chip as Intel stopped producing the chip Apple was using.
