We need some more information to help you. What is the exact model of your MacBook Pro? Do you receive a green light on the MagSafe connector when connected to the MacBook Pro?

If you haven’t already, perform an SMC reset:

  1. Make sure the MagSafe adapter is connected and the MacBook is powered off
  2. Press and hold Shift+Control+Option on the left side of the keyboard and the Power keys at the same time and hold it for 1-2 seconds then release the keys all at the same time.
  3. Your MagSafe LED should change colors briefly.
  4. Try to power on.

If this does not power on your MacBook Pro, do you have another MagSafe adapter to use to rule out a faulty power adapter?

Finally, should none of this work, you may try opening the bottom panel of your MacBook Pro and then disconnecting the battery from the logic board. With the battery disconnected, connect your MagSafe adapter and the MacBook Pro should then power on by itself after a few seconds.

If none of these have powered on your MacBook Pro, we will need to troubleshoot further, but these are some first steps that you can do.

Good luck!
