No touch, but home button works

Touch stopped working on my iPad mini 1. Home button still works. When pushed, the screen pops up. But no touch. Replaced the screen with a new one. Still same problem. Home button works, touch didn’t. I guess it’s not the display, because I changed it with a new one. But what else could it be, do you guys have any idea?

Answer this question I have this problem too

Is this a good question?

I bought this one: https://www.phonegigant.nl/ipad-mini-min...

Current (half working) screen is also from that shop. I cracked the original a year ago. Replacement works fine until last week.

Alright, let’s rule out a bad Digitizer by trying another one. I reccomend that you buy one from here at iFixit because iFixit only sources their parts from trusted and reputable vendors, and on top of that they test all of their products rigorously before selling them too. If it turns out that the Digitizer is in working order and the problem is elsewhere in the iPad no worries, iFixit lets you return their products anytime for any reason.
