JBL Charge 3 Speaker only connects to one device after update

I updated the firmware on my JBL Charge 3.

Since the update I can only connect it to 1 device via bluetooth. I have cleared the bluetooth cache on all devices.

Before the firmware update, I could connect my iPhone via bluetooth and then if someone else wanted to use it that person could connect to the speaker without any problems.

Now I can connect one device (say my iPhone) and the speaker will only connect to that device. If I want to connect it to say a different phone, I have to reset it to factory settings by pressing the play button and the plus button. Once it resets, I can connect to a new device, but now that is the only device that is able to connect unless I reset it again.
