itunes/iPod only play the intro and then skips to next tune

Just recently my ipod and itunes have started to only play a short intro of some songs and then skips to the next tune. These are tunes I have purchased legitimately through itunes and have played in there entirity in the past with no problems. Can anyone offer some advise please. Many thanks, Elaine.

Options

check Get Info>Options for the files in question to ensure the start/stop times haven't somehow been changed and checked. Unchecking should take care of that. Good Luck

On the Ipod or the iTunes app on my laptop, they play completely on itunes?

I have the same issue, however the songs play when I am in the house but when I leave it does intro and moves on.
