Phone wont turn on - likely cause and hope of getting photos?
Background life to the phone:
- Was thrown against a wall, had the screen replaced
- Then months later the battery played up - replaced the battery
- Screen cracked and replaced screen
- Months later just on Facebook, phone crashes and screen stops working, I could feel the phone was very hot where the screen and home button connectors attach to the logic board. I could hear it vibrate with the silent button switched on and off and was responding without the screen displaying anything. I did a restart and it wouldn’t respond again - just overheating on charge
I’ve tried replacing the screen and no luck. I have a feeling it’s the logic board, but no idea why it would suddenly die like it did.
What is the likely cause, and if repairable, do you think I could get the photos of my baby son off the phone??
The phone just gets hot when you charge it now, where the battery is and across the top.
