iBook G4 14" screen only comes on when held open at a certain angle

my ibook screen wont come on unless held at a certain angle,which is about 4 inches from closing the laptop. (almost impossible to view the screen at all)

As time has gone bye, it has became harder and harder to find the correct angle

Now the screen wont come on at all.

Can I REPAIR This screen,

or must I REPLACE the screen completely.

Options

Yes you can repair the screen by replacing the inverter cable. Your cable seems to be broken in the ibook hinge. Please specify your ibook model (processor speed) and we'll guide you to buy the good cable. All 14" ibooks G4 use the same inverter cable except the ibook 1.42ghz.
