Attachable keyboard mousepad overheating

I am having an issue where my mousepad is overheating in seconds after attaching it to my nextbook. I attached photos to show you what kind of nextbook I have and then a picture of where it is overheating and literally burning me. Can anyone tell me what is going on and how to fix this?
