Changed back case and digitizer now it wont turn on

Had to replace the back case before I could change the screen, I reassembled the ipad2 and it powered on to home screen like a champ. I realized the digitizer I bought from amazon was not working properly. I ordered one from I fix it and it just isn’t behaving properly. Not all buttons work right and is super delayed? I’m stumped

Can you specify what “buttons” you are referring to. It appears like you mean the touch functions on the screen but in my vernacular, those aren’t buttons :>). Or perhaps you mean the volume and power buttons…inquiring minds want to know.

If you have two screens from different suppliers that both seem to have touch issues, then you’re problem may be somewhere else. Check the condition of the connectors on the logic board and also double check your work and the replacement housing to insure nothing is catching, crimping or shorting anything that has to do with the digitizer.

Sorry the touch functions is what I meant. If the top screen isn’t adhered yet can that be adding to the issue?

No, the digitizer will work fine even if it isn't secured to the frame.
