I can see gape in backside tempered glass?

i have bought new iPhone SE from online site. phone came in original seal packed box. after a day(i didn’t remove plastics from front and back side yet) i see gape in back side plastic at top back glass(at camera side). i thought its ok. so i putted tempered glass on back. now it was noticeable. i thought its manufacturing defect. so i contacted Apple customer support. apple advisor told me to go to the Apple service center. i went there after a day. and they checked it. they saw me sample iPhone SE and said it has same thing. and yeah that was the same thing as my phone. upper back glass was same little bit raised. but i have same prob with bottom side(not that as much as top glass but minor). so they didn’t do anything it. is that ok? :/

It’s a pretty minor cosmetic defect but still, at the price Apple charges for their products and the “user experience”, they should provide complete satisfaction. I would insist they keep opening boxes until they found a good one or you will have to select another model.

i forgot to mentioned that i got this iPhone on 12 August. i didn't want to repair thing to my new iPhone as they told me its minor. n didn't do anything. its too late now i think but i keep thinking if people have same problem.

and thank you. i clicked those pictures in mobile. it's Xolo Opus 3(as i always do deep research when i bought something) n i love that phone for close focus. its has better close focus than my iPhone SE. :o

Clear tempered glass on the BACK of an iPhone SE? That’s, uh…..pretty crazy.

If you came into my store I’d refund you in a heartbeat. There will always be a border there, you have two different materials—aluminum, and plastic. They will have different expansion coefficients. There is no rationale for tempered glass on the back. It is glass. It breaks. You can’t “protect” aluminum with glass—the aluminum can’t crack. The top and bottom plastics are just stickers. If something happened to them, peel and order another. I don’t think I’ve ever seen an SE get any kind of damage on the back side outside of getting slammed in a car door and bent.

Solution: Take off the tempered glass, “defect” goes away.

thanks but i am in India. :(

and problem is not tempered glass. i just applied it bcoz i don't wanna see scratches on that top and bottom plastic(which i thought glass) and apple logo of course. :P i don't think its normal though. they should have cared in manufacturing this things(my iPhone SE manufactured in India).
