Is the USB connector intact? Any residue on the pins? Does the charging cable wobling in the connector or is it snug?

The Anker Soundcore Flare is similar to the Bose Mini. Anker online support doesn’t even seem to know this. Resetting it is as simple as depressing the power button for a full 10 seconds. Use your smart phone or a wrist watch to time yourself. My power button was stuck on solid “red” for three days. Now it’s fixed.

Hi,

Have you tried a different charger, a different charging cable or tried connecting it to a computer to see if it starts charging at all?

According to the User Manual it can be charged by a 5V 2A charger via a USB cable connection.

What’s happening with the red charge light, presumably it is OFF as you say that it’s not charging?

Does the player still operate OK?

If so perhaps it hasn’t been discharged enough so that charging can be started.

Again, according to the manual it has a playing time of approx. 12 hours, so maybe you should play it for about 6 hours and then check if it starts to charge, as the battery should be now below 50%. (unless you have already played it for a sufficient time to deplete the battery enough)

Hi,

So the charging LED is a solid red indicating that it's charging but it never goes out indicating a fully charged battery, is this correct?

Also it doesn't work without the charger connected, is this correct?

When you remove the charger does the red charging lED start to flash slowly indicating a low battery charge?

If it doesn't work without the charger connected or even indicate a low battery condition and since you've paid cash and don't have a receipt, you've no proof of purchase, so your only option is to open the speaker and check the battery connections to the motherboard are OK etc

If you've lost the receipt and have purchased the speaker from an authorized retailer, try going back to the retailer and see if they remember you and ask if it is possible to obtain a copy of the sales receipt for the speaker.

At least if you can get a copy you'll be able to make a claim for a manufacturer's warranty repair or replacement. It never hurts to ask.

When I plug in my charger into the flare it doesn’t show red so I don’t if it’s charging or not. So I left it there for like 2 hours and it was playing perfectly but then after a couple of minutes it turned off because of battery. Please help me I just bought it today.
