I have Asus R518UA, and if i’m correct they have the same chassis. Back panel is not removable. You must remove top panel in order to get access to motherboard, HDD and battery. You must remove all screws at the bottom of a notebook (one or two could be covered by warranty stickers) and then use something thin (ideally a plastic prying tool, but even something like a credit card, guitar pick, or even plastic ruler should work ) to free the latches that hold a chassis together. After that top panel should came off, but be gentle when you lift it, because keyboard and touchpad wires are pretty short, and it’s easy to rip them. All left to do is disconnect any wire that comes from the panel to the motherboard and you’re in.
