NDS Lite powers on, But the screen flicks on then powers off

I recently found my NDSL and found that it powers on, charges fine. When I turn on the NDS the bottom light flickers on, then off and then a singular note of the start up sound plays, then the whole DS shuts off.

<for reference here this video is note mine, but is the exact same problem I am having>

(I only want to fix it so I can play animal crossing again.
