Sorry I don’t know of any way to remap the keys like that.

As it turns out fixing your problem is not that hard or overly expensive. Here’s the IFIXIT guide MacBook Pro 13" Unibody Mid 2012 Upper Case Replacement and the needed part MacBook Pro 13" Unibody (Early 2011-Mid 2012) Upper Case I think in the long haul this will end up being better.

The only thing I know of is a keyboard shortcut tool like this one Autotyper-Keyboard Shortcuts. It requires the use of the command key and the preprogramed text.

The other method is to use the keyboard viewer. Go into your System preferences, open the Keyboard and then click on 'Input Sources' click 'Show Input menu in menu bar' this will allow you to use your mouse or trackpad to enter the discreet letter by clicking on the key in the viewer.

Keyboard shortcuts might work, but I doubt it.
