The bottom half of the screen is corrupt/noisy

The bottom half of the screen is corrupt/noisy, but if you wiggle and gently 'twist' the screen the corrupt screen clears. Once cleared, the screen functions normally, but only until you touch the screen again.

I've opened and inspected the video cable, connectors and LCD, but could not identify which is faulty.

Has anyone experienced this problem? And more importantly, what did you do to fix it? Did you replace the LCD, or video cable, or both?

sounds like the LCD panel itself, if touching it causes interference. if you mean that when you slightly change the angles of the screen, and it gets messed up, then it might be the video cable. You might be better off just buying a whole new screen assembly, since it includes the cables, screen, and iSight camera
