"Battery not charging" and Power source: Adaptor after replacing batt

I just replaced my MacBook battery using iFixit and followed all the instructions and everything was re-connected (to my knowledge.) I put the case back on and I went to turn it on and it would not. I then plugged it into the charger and it turned on. When I checked the battery it states “Battery not charging” and shows the source as the power adaptor. I went back and unplugged / replugged in the battery connector. I reset the SMC. I ran a Apple Hardware test (restart holding ‘D’) and it showed no trouble found.

I guess, how would I know if I didn’t plug something in right (logic board), if it is a defective battery, or what I should do? When plugged in it runs totally fine, just won’t run without being plugged into the charger.

Does anyone have any advice on what I should try next?

Let’s do some testing of the battery. Download and install coconutBattery and attach an image of the coconutBattery window to your existing question.
