My S6 stopped outputting sound on the loudspeaker. No rings, notifications, media, nothing.
I ordered a replacement part and installed it, and still have no sound.
Now what?

Can you check if the phone is stuck in headphone mode?
The volume sliders shown when you press volume up and down should be at different volumes when you unplug plug in headphones.

I did check all the I did check all the potential software issues that I can think before changing Hardware. There was actually sound out of the speaker, but barely there - maximum volume would be a whisper that you could hear in a quiet room.
After changing the speaker, now there is no sound at all. The contacts you seem to be connecting, there are divots visible in the pads where the pins from the board touch it.
Naar the speaker contacts on the mainboard you have two bronze coils check they are still there and haven’t been knocked off or came off one solder pad. If they are there replace Audio amplifier which is second biggest IC on bottom back of mainboard. You can also run speaker calibration if you have access to Samsung software

Hi @hjanfield ,
Just verifying that you have checked all the appropriate sounds settings in Settings > Sounds and Notifications, especially the Sound Mode and Do not disturb settings?
Try starting the phone in safe mode and check if the loudspeaker works OK in case it is a downloaded app that is causing the problem
