Proximity sensor reattach to ribbon/flex?

How can you reattach the small proximity sensor to the flex cable. It pulled apart during removal.

if it is impossible to reattach it is there any issues with ordering a new sensor and ribbon? I was under the impression that the sensor should match the phone it’s removed from?

It’s pretty much impossible to re-attach the proximity sensor once it’s broken off from a front camera without specialised rework station tools.

There should be no issues using a replacement front camera assembly as they work with every iPhone 6s plus.
