Stuck on apple logo and will not go on diskmode

So I have this ipod classic 160gb and stuck on apple logo tried everything how to unfreeze it or doing to disk mode but still doesn’t work. It won’t go on disk mode. What should I do?

I had same issue but for me after reset that was described when about 10 minutes lapsed of apple logo on screen it switch over to present me with language list and I just went from there setting time date and other adjustments I made long time ago point Is it came back on its own

natasha_iguel  Try to place your iPod in diagnostics mode by following these instructions This could be a HDD issue. Get a Zif-to-USB adapter (something like this and check to see if you can access the HDD from your computer. If you can’t it’s most likely your drive. Also, make sure that teh drive is formatted for your OS. If it was previously connected and synce with a Mac it will not get recognized in Win etc.

Always check/change the battery and inspect the dock connector for any corrosion, broken pins etc. Clean it wih a few puffs of compressed air.
