iPhone 7 speaker and mic issue
I purchased an iPhone 7 128GB Unlocked for $220, issue was that on phone calls you cant hear the other person, and they cant hear you. Speaker phone isn't an option. Also no microphone when recording video. But loudspeaker does work in the sound area of settings. There was 2mns left in the auction, so I figured, “hey just need new front camera flex”. Won it, thinking it was going to be a good flip since those are cheap. Well after research I found out iPhone 7’s are having Audio IC issues. Also the newer versions of iOS are causing this issue. But iv read Apple is taking care of it when you bring it in.
What should I do? I can send to a microsolder for about $60 total to get the Audio IC fixed, but that's going to put it out of my targeted margin. I don't have an Apple store in my state, but there is a location you can bring in Apple products and they ship it out for you and all that jazz.
Should I just wait for iOS 12 to release? Does iOS 12 beta fix the issue? (assuming this particular iPhone is a iOS bug not audio IC
Is this a good question?
