Where is the Atrix GPS antenna?

I replaced the digitizer in my Atrix.

Everything works great. Except my GPS is taking forever to lock on to satellites, and when it does it drops the sats constantly.

Its cloudy outside, but I have never had this problem before. According to the GPS trouble-shooting App I used, the signal is very weak. Where is the GPS antenna? Is it possible I messed up the antenna?

Answer this question I have this problem too

Is this a good question?

I found the answer to my own question. The antenna cable in the Motorola Atrix is the only coaxial cable that plugs into the board. It is very important that the ground located in the middle of the cable be snapped into the metal clip. The clip is part of the case. If it is not connected the GPS will receive low signal and will not function.

Great job Justin ;-) Congratulations. Now all you have to do is convert your comment to an answer (a simple cut and paste will do) and than accept your own answer. Get some credit for your research. Again, great job.

What does that meant, did you re-plug your cable and your GPS began working right? Cause mine is showing the same issues.

I broke that metal clip for the antenna cable!

What can I do?

Please help Mr. Blackwell or someone else.

Thank you!

I ripped the antenna from the case where it attaches to on the top. Not where it connects/snaps on. When reassembling it I clipped it to the metal clip and tucked the broken piece where it used to connect on the side of the case. Gps doesn't work.
