White lines all over screen

So out of nowher my screen is loocking like the one on the picture, I tried connecting to an external display but there is no signal being received by the external screen. I would like to know if it is sreen or gpu damage, thanks for all the help.

Sadly, your logic board will need replacing. Unlike the 15” models yours uses the Intel graphics services within the CPU chip.

Here’s the IFIXIT guide you’ll need to follow MacBook Pro 13" Retina Display Late 2012 Logic Board Replacement. The guide also lists the possible logic boards your system supports.
