iPhone sleep/lock button getting stuck.

Hi, I was replacing the back cover on my iPhone 3g, everything was going well until i had to re-install the lock button. Every time I try to put it in, the button wont click and gets pushed down back into the phone. What am I doing wrong?

Edit: The button was working fine until I opened the phone.

take a look at the guide on the right and just check that you have the silver metal loop hanging down towards the rear case, it sits on a little indentation on the rear case. If you over tighten the screws there is not enough "spring"in the button. It may be that you haven't got the 2 screws actually in the screw holes properly, it can be quite difficult to see where you are putting them.
