Touch Screen not responding after L button and circle pad repair

So just like the tittle says, my touch screen stopped working after i rapaired L trigger button and circle pad. The screen itself is on and all buttons do functions but the touch is unresponsive. I’ve gone back and checked the ribbon cables like 500 times and even completely disassembled it and put it all back together. I’m pretty much out of ideas at this point. Any suggestions?
