How to replace the front glass on iPhone 4 into white?

hi i bought an iphone 4 white front glass and it didint come with the lcd or the thing that connects to the phone its just the glass by its self and i was wondering if i can still change it into a white one because i like the look of it better than the black and how can i switch it?

taking the LCD from the old display assembly will probably break it.. they are fused together very very well. take a look at some of the replies to posts on taking apart the front screen and you'll see what i mean. the common answer is you can't separate them and the only solution is to keep the old display for spare and invest in a new touchscreen and a new LCD that are separate then reassemble. This way if a part breaks you only need order the one part and not both. Your only difficulty then lies in adhering the parts as one.. strong double sided adhesive tape? I think 3M is what has been posted as a good source. take a good look in the solutions tab to the right and see what others have been using and go from there. the guide to replace the front panel is also linked on the right. good luck!
