I have noticed my cpu fan not working properly.computer gets very hot ..I had this computer in the shop a year ago for a system clean .cleared out the drive ..it worked for a few months then nothing..I tried to down load ssd .but It won't let me install..

The 2010 does run very hot. Had this same machine in two weeks ago. Ran a virus cleaner (Symantec Endpoint Protection) got rid of of a dozen viruses and it started running 10 degrees cooler. Cleaned out a lot of air using compressed air. Replaced the power supply. I had installed TG Pro to monitor the temps. Ended up running about 15-20 degrees cooler.
When you had it in the shop, was the hard drive changed?
