iMac 2014 Fusion 1Tb is stuck on SSD

Any help!!!

Please, my iMac 2014 Fusion 1TB is stuck on SSD, I need my files, and don’t Back Up by TimeMachine :(((

So if I take out SSD and HDD, is it possible to connect externally the Fusion Drive to get files?

Any ideas….?

Answer this question I have this problem too

Is this a good question?

You only need the HDD as the SSD is a collection file copies of your most accessed files in a Fusion Drive config.

It does sound like your HDD is the drive thats in trouble ;-{

You may need to ship the drive off to a data recovery service

Thanks, no i think its cernel panic, but i dont know how remove that,or fix it becouse i need files from that drives.

Try just breaking the Fusion Drive to see if that fixes the kernel panic. If you can copy off the last log entry which will be the full panic report. Convert it to a PDF file and attach it in your question so we can review it.

The problem that, i connect externally both SSD and HDD original parts don't work max 1min and shut off... Than i clone both SSD to another SSD, and HDD to SSD, most files copped, but many times restart Mac Pro cylinder.

Now i have problem with big files, where is not enough speed for ssd to do that, always broke when start copying

Well that make perfect sense! You can't make a double SSD Fusion Drive! The idea of a Fusion Drive is you have a fast SSD and a slower HDD. The HDD is the real storage! the SSD is a cache drive where the more called for files are held.

What you want here is only a SSD drive (one physical drive) forget the blade SSD as the one Apple supplies is way too small for most things (24 GB)

You are also messing up the drives by cloning! The cloning Apps don't have the ability to clone Fusion Drives I don't use them any more going onto 10 years now.

You want to leverage Apples Migration Assistant services.

Linas, I think we are chasing created problems vs the real problem within your system.

Lets get back to diagnosing whats wrong here I was hoping you would have posted the panic reports so we could try to see whats messing you up. As I explained the SSD is nothing more than a copy of what the HDD has. Only if you've crashed out in mid write would it have anything, and only one file or two files that where still open when you crashed. Not likely the critical file or two.
