My mac suspend begin start

Hi friends,

Iam a chilean guy, with mac problems.

The mac one day when turn on, the screen turn grey and after few seconds the screen turn black, but i see the apple without bright, then the mac load snow leopard, and when appears login screen, this mac begins to suspend forever, if you press some key the mac come to login screen without bright, but few second after, again suspend the mac.

Sometimes, when i fight with mac trying escape suspend state, the screen turn on with bright and the suspend cycle is over.

And sometimes too, the screen turn on with bright from begins power on. And the mac run good.

But sometimes when i using the mac, the snow leopard freeze or only turn off the mac :(

I dont know about this problem, i read a lot in internet about information but nothing help me.

Hi,

1. Screen turns of and then it is dimmed.

2. Do you see the login or is it dimmed?

3. What do you mean suspend forever ... the white sleep led - is it on?

4. Have you tried to connect it to external screen?

Try to start it with option key (alt) pressed. - Can you see the disk selection screen?

If it is dimmed - try to connect it to external screen - you can see the screen -> most probably LCD problem (backlight or inverter);

You can't see it - might be the logic board.

Hi, thank for answer me.

1. When i press power button, the screen is normal two or three seconds, an after the screen is dimmed, but the mac logo i can see in the background.

2. When appears login screen, sometimes the screen bright few second and after is dimmed, and sometimes is always dimmed, when appears login screen, the macbook begins the suspend cycle, the led is on and the screen turn off, then i press any key and the mac wake up, but in few seconds the macbook come back to suspend, and repeat the cycle, until auto shutdown or the screen turn bright.

4. I dont have adapter to connect a external screen.

5. Now i writing this message with my mac, sometimes the macbook is normal start.

Hi, sorry for late reply, normaly we'd start with replacing the inverter - if it won't help the backlight of the LCD panel;
