Reliable suppliers of a new laptop battery etc
I need to buy a new battery for my old HP Pavilion g series laptop PC. (iFixit's own EU parts store doesn't seem to do parts for this.)
The part number has been identified to me by one of HP's suppliers which has quoted a high price with no option about its being delivered by courier. But there seem to be lots of other suppliers offering this numbered part on Amazon (for instance) at wildly varying prices. I've no idea which suppliers are trustworthy and which to choose.
Some entries say that the battery has 6 cells, some 9 and some 12 - which is best?
Update (07/15/2018)
I thought it was a fairly basic laptop, since I bought this model mostly for office work rather than gaming etc.
The system specifications look like this:
Version: 6.1.7601 Service Pack 1 Build 7601
OS Manufacturer: Microsoft Corporation
System Manufacturer: Hewlett-Packard
System Model: HP Pavilion g6 Notebook PC
System Type: x64-based PC
Processor: AMD E2-3000M APU with Radeon(tm) HD Graphics, 1800 Mhz, 2 Core(s), 2 Logical Processor(s)
BIOS Version/Date: Insyde F.6A, 13/05/2013
SMBIOS Version: 2.7
Installed Physical Memory (RAM): 4.00 GB
Total Physical Memory (RAM): 3.48 GB
The Amazon listings don't include the wattage per hour but I can see some Ninjabatt 12 cell batteries rated at 95Wh amongst them, with a supposedly regular price of nearly £60 - which isn't far off what I've been quoted. It's the addition of delivery charges plus VAT on everything which made the quote seem so high.
Is this a good question?

You really don't need a large battery for an AMD E2 system. Yes, the 12 cell 95Wh will run basically forever on a single charge but it's WAY more then I'd recommend for that.
I'd probably look at a 6 or 9 cell to avoid the import tariffs.
