My speakers just keep crackling to the beat of the music?

I recently acquired a 1969 RCA computer crafted component record cabinet. Everything seems to be working fine except the speakers. The aren't busted in the front. But still make a terrible crackling noise on every channel (PHONE, TUNER, TAPE). Every further inspection there are 2 ceramic fuses inside the speakers but even after removing them they work better but still do nothing but crack. I assume it's wiring but i'm not sure where. Let me know what you think?

kzozos take plenty of good pictures to show us what you have and what you are working on. Post those with your question so we can see what you see. Use this guide Adding images to an existing question for that

Thank you I just did. And actually changed the question a little because I figured something else out in the meantime.

kzozos looking at your images you have to explain some of the speaker wiring to us. Not quite sure what you got going on there.

You want to make sure that all the speakers are properly connector first. After that you will have to open up the back of your console and take a look at the chassis and see what is going on with that. Right now, looking at your wiring I would not be surpised that you are having some more interesting discoveries to make. The crackling sound could be your speakers or your amplifier. Connect a different (known-good) speaker to that unit and see what that will give you. I am also not sure where you “there are 2 ceramic fuses inside the speakers” see those. I do not see any of that but then I am old and have bad vision. If you can, give us a complete model number

Thank you for your response.

No worries, I didn't take the best picture. So that photo I took after I took it apart to test it without the fuses and then I just never took another photo.(my bad) I tried to test it with my speakers I know that work but I have a good set of pioneer speakers but I can't connect them because the connections are different. The pioneer speakers I have are just bare wire inputs (red and black clips). And the speakers in the console are almost like spade clips but every part of the connector is squared off. If that makes sense. I'm not sure if you can see it in the picture. Sorry I don't know the proper term. Is there any way I can wire my good speakers to it? I tried just wrapping the bare wire around the part that went to the amplifier but that clearly didn't work. Looking forward to your response. I'll also try to add more photos shortly
